More than 250 performers of the Donetsk People's Republic were on tours in various regions of the Russian Federation in the first half of 2017, reported the press service of the DPR Ministry of Culture.
"Over the first six months of 2017, more than 250 culture and art employees of the Republic visited the Russian Federation on tours. They gave 18 concerts, 13 performances, and, along with that, took part in more than 20 festivals and competitions," the press service said.
The ministry noted that among the bright events of the half-year there had been the large-scale tours of the Honoured State Academic Song and Dance Donbass Ensemble to the Moscow Region, the Republic of Komi, the Republic of Mari El and Voronezh, and their participation in the fair in the Kursk region and the international festival in Bryansk.
In addition, in April 2017, young composers of the Donetsk People's Republic Roman Kachalov and Daniil Milka took part in the International Youth Festival-Forum of Contemporary and Traditional Music "Russian Spring in St. Petersburg", and the Forever Forever production of the Donetsk State Academic Music and Drama Theatre was presented at the festival of the Petersburg Baltic House theatre.
