Over 2,000 children become forced migrants in DPR during the war in Donbass

Over two thousand children have become forced migrants in the Donetsk People’s Republic for the period of the military hostilities, the DPR Ombudsman Darya Morozova states at the press-conference. 

“7,994 people, including 2,106 children aged under 18 were registered as forced migrants in Donbass since the beginning of the military conflict,” said Morozova. 

She added that the Ombudsman’s office had issued 5,054 referrals to settling in temporary accommodation facilities.  

3,016 people live in temporary accommodation facilities as of today. 2,741 of them come from Kiev-controlled territories.
