One AFU soldier dies, 6 more wounded in two non-battle incidents

One Ukrainian soldier perished, six more were wounded in two non-battle incidents in Donbass, namely, armoured vehicle tripped a landmine and the head-on crash of the armoured vehicle and KRAZ truck took place, reports the DPR Operational Command’s Vice-Commander, Eduard Basurin.

“Yesterday, at 06:00pm during the transportation of the personnel of the 10th separate motorized infantry battalion of the 59th separate motorized infantry brigade from one position to another, 3 kilometres to the south-west from Pavlopol locality, armoured vehicle tripped Ukrainian landmine. One Ukrainian soldier perished, three more were wounded,” said Basurin.

One more incident happened with the 25th separate airborne brigade’s servicemen; tree soldiers were wounded as a result of the head-on crash of the armoured vehicle and KRAZ truck, which was carrying Ukrainian personnel in Marinovka locality’s area.

Earlier, it was reported that irrecoverable non-battle losses of the Ukrainian army as on October 2017 amounted to 85 people.
