Norwegian instructors arrive to AFU bases under international observers' guise

The DPR reconnaissance has detected the arrival of military instructors from Norway to the Ukrainian forces' positions in Donbass, reported the Vice-Commander of the DPR Operational Command, Eduard Basurin.

"The most ambitious measures for engineering equipment of positions were detected in the responsibility zones of the 30th separate mechanized brigade in the vicinity of Novotroitskoye settlement (near Dokuchayevsk) and the 57th separate mechanized brigade in the vicinity of Pesky settlement. According to the information received from the officers of the 57th brigade, the activity in strengthening the positions in the brigade comes connected with the arrival of military specialists from Norway," he said.

At the same time, according to Basurin, the foreign instructors act under the guise of a commission for compliance with the "Vienna documents on measures to build confidence and security in Europe."

The DPR Command regularly informs about the foreign instructors arriving in Donbass to train servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. For instance, on February 11, it was reported that foreign instructors had arrived in Artyomovsk to train the AFU servicemen in the tactics of fighting in urban setting with subsequent cleansing of settlements.
