More than 100 people appeal to DPR Ombudsman over week

As the press service of the Ombudsman informs, since early 2017, 5,310 appeals addressed to the main human rights activist of the Republic. During the period from 4 to 10 November, one person attended the Ombudsman's personal reception, 45 applications were received by the department dealing with citizens' appeals, 32 calls were received by hotline phones.

E-mail of the Office of the Ombudsman received 3 electronic appeals, 18 written appeals were also considered, 5 from earlier received were considered, and 31 citizens were provided with legal advice.

All incoming appeals can be divided into 4 categories: violations in the field of criminal law - 313 appeals, violations in the sphere of civil law - 654, administrative and legal violations against citizens of the Donetsk People's Republic - 17, social and humanitarian issues - 4,326 appeals.
