Minsk talks not to bring results until Kiev announces its clear position - Pushilin

Negotiations on the peaceful settlement of the situation in Donbass held in Minsk on October 18 did not bring positive results again due to the lack of a clear position of the Ukrainian side, DPR Delegation Head at peace talks, People's Council Chairman Denis Pushilin states.

"Unfortunately, there are no results that would satisfy us and the world community, because Ukraine continues using elements of sabotage and imitation of the fulfillment of its obligations," said Pushilin.

As for the extension of the law on special status for another year - nothing has been done in this respect. Ukraine is not "for" or "against" - they have no position.

It should be noted that another round of talks on Donbass was held in the Belarusian capital on October 18. As a result of the meeting, as representatives of the profile subgroups reported earlier, significant progress was not made.

Earlier, on October 6, the Ukrainian Verkhovna Rada adopted a law that formally extended the law on the special status of Donbass for another year, which, contrary to the Minsk agreements, was never applied in practice.
