MFA prepares agenda for future meeting of Putin and Trump, Matviyenko believes

The foreign-policy establishments of the Russian Federation and the United States are already working out the agenda for the upcoming meeting of the leaders of the two countries, as previously President Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump talked on the phone, the Speaker of the Federation Council of the Russian Federation Valentina Matviyenko states.

"Now we need to form such an agenda and form those possible agreements that can be achieved," said the speaker on Wednesday.

"I think such instructions are given to our foreign affairs agencies, they will work on this agenda," said Matvienko.

According to her, the Russian president and the American leader have a desire for dialogue, which was demonstrated during the last conversation.

"Yes, he (Trump - ed.) has a complicated internal political situation, not everything he wanted was realized, but it (the will - ed.) was confirmed during yesterday's conversation," she said.
