Representatives of the Lugansk People's Republic have completed the repair of the wooden flooring, which had been previously equipped on the site of the destroyed span of the bridge at Stanitsa Luganskaya, the Republic’s representative to the humanitarian subgroup of the contact group, the head of the LPR working group for the exchange of prisoners, Olga Kobtseva, reported on Sunday.
"The obligations undertaken to carry out the repair works on the bridge, via which people cross the contact line, have been completed on our part,” Kobtseva was quoted as saying.
At the same time, the LPR representative added that the checkpoint of entry and departure at Stanitsa Luganskaya would resume its work starting from December 11.
"The crossing was closed for two days, of which the population had been notified in advance," she said.
Yesterday, representatives of the LPR and the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) began repairing the crossing at Stanitsa Luganskaya. The People's Militia of the Republic stated the full compliance with the Minsk agreements, in particular, to ensure the safety of works.
