Kiev hopes to get financial aid from Turkey for the army

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine expects to sign an agreement with the Turkish government, according to which Ankara is to provide more than two million dollars of financial assistance to meet the needs of the Ukrainian army, the Ministry website reports. 

It is expected that an agreement on military-financial cooperation and a protocol on financial assistance will be signed.

It should be noted that Turkey will finance the purchase of goods and services to meet the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the amount of 9 million Turkish liras (2.3 million dollars) and short-term training of Ukrainian soldiers in the training centers of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Turkey for the amount of 0,3 million Turkish liras (77 thousand dollars).
