IMF will postpone next tranche to Ukraine

The International Monetary Fund may postpone the transfer of Ukraine's fifth tranche in the amount of $1.9 billion.

In an interview with Bloomberg, Ukrainian Prime Minister Vladimir Groisman said that the Verkhovna Rada would not have time to fulfill one of the IMF's conditions before the summer parliamentary holidays - to pass a bill on land reform, which the IMF insisted on carrying out.

In 2015, the International Monetary Fund adopted a program of economic assistance to Ukraine 17.5 billion dollars-worth. It is intended for four years, tranches are implemented as Kiev fulfills a number of conditions.
