Fire breaks out in DPR south due to Ukrainian shelling

A fire occurred in the south of the Donetsk People's Republic, resulting from a shelling by the Ukrainian forces, a house caught fire, the DPR Ministry of Emergency Situations said on Thursday.

Earlier, the Contact Group for the situation settlement in Donbass agreed upon a new, 'academic' truce in the Donbass starting from August 25 midnight. This has been the fifth attempt of the partied to cease shelling since the beginning of the year and the third one to ensure silence regime by September 1 since the outset of the conflict.

"On September 20, a fire broke out in a house on Kirov Street in Kominternovo locality, 48 square meters of flooring, nine window blocks and one door were destroyed," the press service of the Emergency Ministry said.
