DPR Prosecutor General’s Office reports new proves on AFU being involved in Boeing crash

The DPR Prosecutor General’s Office resumes investigative proceedings on the case of the Malaysian Boeing crash due to the newly revealed facts, reports the head of the regulatory agency’s investigative department, Roman Belous.

“Taking into consideration newly revealed facts in the investigation of the Boeing crash near the town of Torez, the DPR Prosecutor General’s Office resumes investigative proceedings on the case,” said he.

It was underlined that in the process of investigation, new data, which confirm the fact of anti-aircraft missile system “Buk” projectile being launched from the Zaroshinskoye locality’s area in the Shakhtersky district, which at the moment of plane’s crush was controlled by Kiev, were discovered.

“Apart from it, the fact that the Ukrainian 156th flak missile regiment had been involved in the Boeing crash was confirmed,” said Belous.

In this regard, the Prosecutor General's Office expresses its readiness for further cooperation with the investigative authorities of Netherlands and the joint investigation team to determine the true causes of the Boeing disaster in Donbass.
