DPR Parliament establishes Commission on quick solution to front-line areas' residents' problems

The MPs of the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) approved the draft decree "on the formation of the Provisional Commission of the People's Council of the Donetsk People's Republic to control and coordinate activities in the areas most suffered from the armed aggression of Ukraine."

The document was adopted by parliamentarians unanimously.

"Life in settlements near and on the contact line is different from those in the rear. We are well aware that it will be difficult to solve all these problems without the intervention of deputies and clear coordinated actions involving additional finance. And special attention to the front-line areas is key for us, "Parliament Speaker Denis Pushilin addressed the deputies.

He explained that the main task of the commission would be to monitor the level of social tension, to study the problems of residents in the front-line areas and to develop mechanisms for prompt reaction to these problems. It included eleven MPs from the factions Donetsk Republic and Free Donbass. 

The commission was headed by the parliamentarian Ekaterina Martyanova (Donetsk Republic).

The validity of the commission is six months. Information about the work done will be announced in the People's Council every three months.
