DPR Ombudswoman Darya Morozova has discussed the humanitarian situation in the Republic, that arose after the latest conflict escalation, with United Nations Organization Special Monitoring Mission Human Rights Chief Fiona Fraser, the ombudswoman’s press-office reports.
“Today, the ombudswoman of the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) Darya Morozova has met with the Head of the United Nations Organization Special Monitoring Mission Fiona Fraser. The humanitarian situation, that arouse as a result of the situation escalation was discussed during the meeting,” reports the press-office.
The press-office added that the Republic’s Ombudswoman, in her turn, drew the UNO representatives’ attention to the accommodation and provision issues of the civilians who had to leave their dwellings during shellings and to look for an accommodation in temporary settlements of civilians.
The issues of detainees, who are both on the territory of the Donetsk People’s Republic and on Ukraine’s territory, were discussed during the meeting.
“The representatives of the United Nations Organization were concerned about the situation in Donbass,” highlighted the ombudswoman’s office.
