DPR holds first meeting of Integration Committee "Russia-Donbass"

The second meeting of the Integration Committee "Russia - Donbass" and the first in the DPR began today in Donetsk.

The event is held in the capital's hotel complex "Shakhtar Plaza" with the participation of the DPR Head, Alexander Zakharchenko, the deputy hairman of the DPR Ministers' Council Alexander Drobot, State Duma deputy Andrey Kozenko, Federation Council member Sergey Tsekov, other Russian politicians, public figures, experts and journalists from 10 countries.

It is planned that within the framework of the meeting there will be a general plenary session, after which the work will continue at four discussion platforms: "Restoring economic ties between Donbass and Russia", "Humanitarian and cultural integration of Donbass and Russia", "Best integration practices of interaction between the Donbass and Russia's community" and "International support of Donbass."

The Integration Committee "Russia - Donbass" is a permanently functioning public organization activities of which are aimed at strengthening the process of humanitarian, social and cultural integration of Donbass and the Russian Federation. The constituent meeting of the Committee was held on March 17, 2017, in the Livadia Palace (Yalta, the Republic of Crimea). Then the Heads of the Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics Alexander Zakharchenko and Igor Plotnitsky took part in it. The Coordinator of the Integration Committee is the State Duma deputy Andrey Kozenko. By the end of the year, several Committee meetings are planned in Donbass and in the Russian Federation.
