DPR Head and People’s Council deputies honour St. Petersburg explosion victims’ memory with minute's silence

Alexander Zakharchenko and the Donetsk Republic faction’s parliamentarians commemorated civilians who had perished the previous day in the explosion in St. Petersburg’s metro. The meeting of the Head of State with the faction’s deputies was begun with a minute of silence.

"Before the cession is started, let's honour the memory of those killed in the St. Petersburg metro with a moment of silence," said Zakharchenko.

At the meeting of the Republic’s leader with the Donetsk Republic faction there were also present the parliament speaker Denis Pushilin and the head of the faction Alexander Kostenko.

The explosion in the subway of Russia’s northern capital thundered yesterday at about 2:40 pm between the “Technological Institute" and "Sennaya Ploshchad" stations. According to the preliminary data, the explosive device exploded in a train car. According to TASS, referring to the head of the Russian Federation’s Healthcare Ministry, the tragedy claimed the lives of 14 people, 49 more were injured, including one child.
