DPR General Prosecutor’s Office calls on Netherlands to take remains found on Boeing-777 crash site

The DPR has handed over an appeal to the Kingdom of the Netherlands’ Prosecutor-General expressing the readiness, in official capacity, to hand over remains found on the Boeing-777 MH 17 crash site near Torez, DPR General Prosecutor’s Office, Press-Service reports.

“Due to the absence of possibility of holding correspondence with the General Prosecutor’s Office of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, the DPR General Prosecutor’s Office appealed to the Kingdom of the Netherlands’ ambassadors in Russia, Germany, France and Ukraine with a request for handing over an official appeal to Mister F. Vesterbeke concerning the discovery of remains’ fragments found on the Boeing-777 MH 17 crash site on July 17, 2014,” said a representative of the Press-Service.

The appeal expresses the readiness for officially handing over the remains’ fragments to the Dutch side to examine and identify them further.

“The DPR General Prosecutor’s Office is calling on the Dutch side to send official representatives of the Joint Investigation Team and officially take the available fragments,” highlighted the representative.

Earlier it was reported that the employees of the DPR General Prosecutor’s Office had found the bodies, presumably, of the plane crash victims when examining the territory in the vicinity of the Boeing-777 crash site near Torez.
