DPR combat-engineers defuse 1,667 explosive objects over past week

Combat engineers of the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) Emergencies Ministry defused 1, 667 explosive objects over the past week, Control Center in Crisis Situations Life-Saving Department Deputy Chief Vitaly Zarubin stated this on August 11. 

“A fireworks detachment unit of the DPR Emergencies Ministry defused 1, 667 explosive objects over the past week,” said Vitaly Zarubin. 

According to him, over 52 hectares of various kinds of territories and 25km of roads were examined. 

It should be noted that the DPR rescue-workers regularly hold events devoted to discovering and defusing explosive objects. 

Unexploded mortar-shells, projectiles and other ammunition of the Great Patriotic War (GPW) and the conflict in Donbass Time are regularly found.
