The leadership of the National Police of Ukraine is concerned about the increasing flow of illegal arms and ammunition trafficking from the so-called 'ATO' zone, and as a result, a sharp increase in crime in the country.
As I already informed, most of the contraband goes through Ukrainian volunteers, who are moving freely in the so-called 'ATO' zone. It is not uncommon for servicemen of the Ukrainian Armed Forces to carry out deals directly, without intermediaries, by selling arms and ammunition to organized criminal groups.
Among the foremost workers of illegal business are servicemen of the 72 separate mechanised brigade. The savviest soldiers of this brigade are using the services of the Ukrainian company "Nova Pochta" (New Post) for the transfer of weapons.
