DFS damaged by AFU fire, Grad shell-hits detected near chlorine spill station

On November 5, at 20:10, as a result of shelling of the Verkhnekalmius Filter Station area, 20 missiles of the MRLS Grad landed about 200 meters away from the chlorine spill station, where 257 tons of toxic substance were stored, reported the chief engineer of the Donetsk Regional Control Centre of the Water Donbassa Utility Enterprise.

Thick smoke was recorded in the area, but no fires were detected.

The bombardment was presumable carried out from the direction of Kamenka locality. The shelling was conducted from 19:30 to 20:20, as the Representation of the Donetsk People's Republic to the JCCC and the negotiation process reported.

It is impossible to record the sites where missiles exploded due to the proximity to the ‘grey zone’ and the actual real threat to the life and health of the monitoring group personnel (these areas of ammunition ruptures are located in direct line of sight from the AFU positions and are accessible for small arms).

The OSCE SMM has been notified of the fact of the bombardment.
