AFU fire at DFS area during OSCE webcam installation

The Ukrainian forces shelled the area of the Donetsk filtering station during a surveillance camera installation by representatives of the OSCE Mission, reported a source in the power-wielding department of the Donetsk People's Republic.

"At about 1:00 pm, the DFS area underwent a bombardment carried out the Ukrainian side with mortars of 82-mm and 120-mm calibres. At that moment, experts of the OSCE mission were holding works to install a surveillance camera at the station," the source said.

The source noted that the fire had been launched from the Kiev-controlled area of Avdeyevka.

The OSCE responded to an operational request of the Donetsk News Agency, stating that "the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission records violations of the ceasefire and publishes relevant information in its daily reports," adding that the data for this day would be made public no earlier than the evening of October 19.
