12 persons killed, 11 wounded in Ukrainian shellings this week – DPR Ombudsman

Twelve people were killed, eleven got wounded in the DPR for the period from March 10 to March 16 as a result of the AFU shellings, reported the press service of the Republic’s Office of the Ombudsman for Human Rights Daria Morozova.

"From March 10 to March 16, 2017, 12 persons were killed in the territory of the Donetsk People's Republic," the press service noted.

"11 persons received wounds of varying severity as a result of incessant artillery fire by Ukraine’s troops."

Since the turn of this year, according to the information of the `ombudsman's office, 79 persons have been killed in the DPR, 137 persons, including four children, received wounds of varying severity.

In total, according to the updated data, 4,368 persons were killed in the Donetsk People's Republic, including 595 women and 3,773 men, 74 children among them.
