1,000 Days of Ukrainian Armed Operations Against Donbass People

It’s the day of sorrow in Donbass today: 1,000 days since the so-called Ukrainian anti-terroristic operation had begun. On April 6, 2014 by the acting president, speaker of the Verkhovna Rada, Aleksandr Turchinov, the corresponding decree was signed.

According to his commands, the army was thrown against the civil citizens of the Republics. Later the next state leader – Petr Poroshenko, supported the initiative.

The results of the war against their own citizens are shocking. According to the official data more than 10,000 people died in Donetsk, more than 20,000 were wounded. But despite it, Ukrainian politicians still don’t understand that the only solution is the peaceful negotiations and the complete ceasefire.

"Our young state (Lugansk People's Republic) is created, but the pain of all the losses we had touched a great number of families. 1,300 of casualities – peaceful citizens who were living the ordinary day, hoping that the law, justice and equality are preserved in the country. For a thousand days we we were trying to protect our faith, our truth and our zeal of life. And so we did. And we will continue with our heads held high."
