Despite the Ukrainian shelling intensity reducing, the DPR situation remains quite tense on Monday. In total, according to the new DPR Command’s methodology, Ukrainian forces violated the ceasefire 39 occasions over the last 24 hours.
It should be underlined that the notion “Shelling” is to be understood as the enemy’s uninterrupted firing at the certain front line sector till the ceasefire period. Earlier, the total amount of the ammunition launched onto the Republic territory was understood by “shelling”.
The DPR localities underwent the Ukrainian shelling with heavy artillery of 152 mm and 122mm calibre, tanks, mortars of 120mm and 82 mm calibre, IFVs, armoured vehicles, high-angle mountings, grenade launchers and small arms, reports the DPR Operational Command.
The enemy conducted the most severe shelling in the Donetsk direction.
The following localities were shelled: Yasinovataya, Yakovlevka locality, Donetsk northern outskirt, namely, Spartak locality, former airport territory and the Petrovsky district of the capital.
In the Petrovsky district, the shelling resulted in two houses’ damage.
The southern Republic’s localities also underwent the Ukrainian shelling, namely Dokuchaevsk, Kominternovo, Bezymennoye, Leninskoye and Sakhanka of the Novoazovsky district of the DPR.
