Zakharchenko expresses his hope for situation stabilization with onset of 'Easter' truce

The situation on the front line in Donbass has sharply escalated, the Head of the Donetsk People's Republic Alexander Zakharchenko states. 

"There is hope that Kiev will observe the 'Easter' truce. Hope always dies last. There is the hope. But what is happening on the front line worries. Literally yesterday, the strongest escalation took place in the south," said the Head of State. 

He highlighted that he hoped that the Ukrainian side would comply with the cease-fire regime on Easter days.

It should be noted that the on the evening's eve the Ukrainian military fired at all directions. 

The settlements in the vicinity of Gorlovka, Donetsk and the south of the Republic underwent shelling on the part of the Ukrainian military. 

In the vicinity of the village of Luganskoye, a group of reconnaissance men of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) were blown up on a minefield while trying to penetrate deep into the territory of the Donetsk People's Republic.
