US to allocate over half a billion dollars to help Ukraine and Georgia

The US Congress allocates more than $ 420 million to help Ukraine and over 105 million to support Georgia, according to the draft budget of the US for the 2018 financial year, distributed in the Congress after preliminary approval by the Republicans and Democrats.

"At least 105 million 325 thousand dollars should be provided in the form of aid to Georgia... At least 420 million 700 thousand should be provided as aid to Ukraine," the draft budget says.

These figures do not include 200 million worth military aid to Ukraine.

Both chambers of Congress have time until Friday night to accept the budget and not to leave the federal government without funding. The budget should be signed by President Donald Trump.
