Over the past day, the Ukrainian troops fired 320 pieces of various ammunition at the frontline territories of the Donetsk People's Republic, reported the Head of the Republic's Representation to the Joint Center for Control and Coordination of the ceasefire (JCCC), Ruslan Yakubov.
"The total number of ammunition engaged by the AFU made 320 pieces," he said.
According to the Joint Center, the shelling from the Ukrainian units' positions was carried out against the north of Donetsk and the village of Spartak in its suburbs, villages in the suburbs of Gorlovka, Dokuchayevsk, and the south of the DPR. It is specified that the fire was engaged with 82-mm and 120-mm mortars, tank guns, weapons of armoured personnel carriers and infantry fighting vehicles.
Along with that, according to the head of the Petrovsky district of the capital, a gas pipeline was damaged in the west of Donetsk as a result of the bombardments last night. A total of 13 violations of the ceasefire regime by the Armed Forces of Ukraine were registered over the past 24 hours.
