Two people were injured in the collapse of rocks in two mines in the DPR - in Donetsk and Makeevka. It was reported by the press service on the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
On January 18 rocks collapsed in the Zasyadko mine in Donetsk and the Yasinovskaya-Glubokaya mine in Makeevka. As a result of the accidents there are two victims - an engine driver of a mining machine and an apprentice.
According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the engine driver born in 1984 and the apprentice born in 1989 were taken to the Republican trauma center and the trauma department of the Makeevka hospital respectively.
The most serious accident in the history of the DPR took place in that very Zasyadko mine. A methane explosion killed 34 miners and another 14 workers were injured. After the accident the director of the mine was arrested.
