The situation in the responsibility zone of the LPR People's Militia tends to aggravation.
Over the past day, there were registered two violations of ceasefire by the enemy. Our units’ positions near the localities of Lomovatka and Donetsky were attacked. During the bombardments, IFVs, mortars, and small arms were applied. In total there were launched about 100 projectiles and shells.
As a result of the shelling of Donetsky locality, a house was damaged, one civilian got wounded.
The military leadership of Ukraine, hiding behind the ‘alleged truce’ continues to violate the Minsk Agreements, regarding the placement of forbidden weapons and military equipment near the contact line:
- Near Popasnaya there was detected one 152 mm self-propelled artillery mount Akatsiya;
- Near Orekhovo there was detected a firing position of one 122 mm self-propelled artillery mount Gvozdika;
- Near Troitskoye there were detected equipped positions, at which two 122-mm artillery howitzers D-30 were stationed.
Our intelligence continues to register the stepping-up of foreign mercenaries’ activity on the contact line, among which there are groups of snipers, in most cases these are women from Latvia, Lithuania, and Poland.
Despite the beginning of units’ rotation in the ‘ATO’ zone, cases of unauthorized deployment’s abandonment continue to occur in the AFU ranks. Thus, only on April 7, in the 54th separate mechanized brigade’s units, two servicemen arbitrarily left their units’ bases, and seven were detained in a state of intoxication outside the deployment. This once again indicates the unsatisfactory moral and psychological state of personnel.
In turn, the LPR People's Militia units continuously carry combat duty, conduct military trainings meant for maintaining high combat readiness.
We do not react to provocations by the Ukrainian Armed Forces and strictly observe the ‘silence regime’ introduced since April 1.
Our actions are aimed at solving the conflict in Donbass peacefully.
