DPR serviceman killed in Ukrainian shelling of southern Kominternovo village

A DPR serviceman of the Donetsk People's Republic has been killed today as the Ukrainian forces shelled the village of Kominternovo of the Novoazovsky district in the south of the Donetsk People's Republic, reported the Head of the Republic's Representative Office to the Joint Center for Control and Coordination of the ceasefire regime (JCCC), Ruslan Yakubov.

"As of 4:00 pm, JCCC monitors registered seven facts of shelling by the AFU. As a result of one of them, a DPR serviceman was wounded in the village of Kominternovo, the received wounds were incompatible with life," Yakubov said.

It is noted that at the time of the shelling, the serviceman assisted civilians, who had been affected by the previous shelling.

Let us recall that the "Easter" truce, initiated by DPR Head Alexander Zakharchenko and agreed by the Contact Group for peaceful settlement, began to operate in Donbass on March 30 midnight. However, silence on the fronts did not last long. The first violations by the Ukrainian troops were registered in some 9,5 hours. Today, the Operational Command of the Donetsk People’s Republic reported on 16 violations of the armistice by the enemy recorded over the previous day.
