DPR Mines hand over more than 35 thousand tons of free coal to population

Over the first quarter of 2018 the state coal producers of the Donetsk People's Republic handed over more than 35,000 tons of coal to their employees and pensioners, the press service of the Ministry of Coal and Energy of the Republic reports. 

"The Ministry of Coal and Energy of the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) keeps fulfilling the social guarantees of miners in terms of providing free coal for domestic needs. Thus, since the beginning of the year, 35, 761 tons of coal that is 21% of the required volume in 2018 have been delivered to coal-beneficiaries of the DPR state operating coal mining enterprises," pointed out a representative of the Ministry.  

They added that in March, over 16,000 tons of coal were sent to the recipients. 

It should be noted that in 2017, the state mines of the Republic handed over 215,000 preferential "black gold" to their employees and pensioners for household needs.
