Athes, November 20. At the embassy of Ukraine in Athenes there was held an anti-fascist rally dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the beginning of the International Tribunal over the leader of Nazi Germany.
A small rally was organised by the Greeks and immigrants from Ukraine to remind people about the inevitability of punishment and equality of all people before the law.
'We have made a banner with photos of Poroshenko as well as those of Hitler, Goering and Goebbels for a very simple reason — the latter are criminals who were tried 70 years ago,' said one of the organisers of the rally.
According to the participants, what happened in Odessa in May 2014 when dozens of people were burnt in the Trade Union House and in Gorlovka over the past months where dozens of civilians were killed is a crime that should be investigated by an international tribunal.
'Our rally at the Ukrainian embassy is to remind everybody about crimes committed by Nazi army during the Second World War and those being committed by the Ukrainian army in the south-east of Ukraine now. What ultranationalists are doing cannot be forgiven. Justice must prevail,' said one of the participants.
